Aims
For delegates to have a good understanding of implant dentistry and the role of a dental nurse throughout implant treatment.
To use the skills learnt on the course to be able assist both the dentist and the patient throughout implant treatment, both before and after surgery.
Objectives
An introduction to dental implant nursing covered through didactic teaching and hands-on practical.

Nicky has been a dental nurse in both private and NHS dentistry for 22 years, I’m currently head nurse and implant nurse at Alliance Dentistry in Ludlow alongside David Hotchen.
I have a keen interest in oral surgery and implants and have been fortunate enough to work with many dentists over the years who also shared in this passion.
Amy Minchin

Amy joined the practice in January 2016 and qualified as a dental nurse here at Beeston Dental Practice. She loves caring for our patients and making them feel relaxed in the dental environment. Implant nursing is her passion and she loves seeing patients through their implant journey. Amy has recently achieved her NEBDN implant nursing qualification, and is currently studying Dental Radiography. Amy is also a member of the ITI dental nurses.
At the start of 2018, Amy became a Treatment Coordinator where she gets time to spend with patients to help them understand and choose their treatment options.
