The Digital Implant Journey for Beginners
This presentation highlights straightforward and advanced cases treated with single crowns or short-span implant prostheses using digital workflows. With the help of case reports, Dr. Watt explains the different stages of a digital workflow in implant planning followed by the surgical and prosthetic treatment. This presentation explains the basic digital dentistry terminologies, different digital software platforms, scanning options and types of surgical guides. Simple guidelines for implementing digital workflows as well as the pros and cons of digital versus analog implant workflows are explained, which are useful concepts for beginners who wish to integrate digital dentistry in their implant practice.
