Implant Number in the Edentulous Jaw: Practical Considerations for the Fixed Rehabilitation

This lecture discusses the factors that assist clinicians in the decision-making process as to the number and distribution of implants to be placed to support full arch fixed dental prostheses in the maxilla and the mandible. It provides an overview of the prosthetic factors that should be considered when developing a surgical plan for treatment of edentulous arches and provides examples from every day clinical practice. Furthermore, the lecture discusses the conditions to be considered when selecting the placement and loading protocol.
