Healthy Esthetics for Implant Supported FDPs

This lecture describes how to design prostheses to facilitate proper oral hygiene control. Design parameters that allow access for hygiene measures, encourage patient compliance, and contribute to a stable outcome are presented. Various clinical situations, both anterior and posterior, are clearly demonstrated. The lecture concludes with a useful and easy-to-understand list of hygienic FDP design principles to reduce the risk of peri-implantitis from a prosthodontic perspective.

At the end of this Congress Lecture you should be able to…

  • explain proper contour for anterior restorations
  • explain proper contour for posterior restorations
