Structured Assessment and Treatment Planning
Forget about the Guesswork ‒ Holistic Risk Assessment of any Implant Case with the SAC Classification
This is a recording of Luíz André Mezzomo's Webinar on ITI Academy live. This presentation will introduce the updated SAC Classification as a tool to aid in diagnosing and treatment planning of implant cases. The updated SAC Classification ensures consistency with contemporary implant practice. It provides an evidence-based, objective framework for the assessment of the complexity and risk of an implant treatment and serves as a guide for clinicians in both patient selection and treatment planning.
At the end of this lecture you should be able to...
- define the SAC Tool and describe its goal, its purpose and its strategy
- discuss how the SAC Classification can play a key role as a tool aiding in identifying and minimizing potential implant treatment risks via a checklist
- demonstrate the employment of the SAC Tool by means of an example case
