- the importance of a comprehensive history-taking
- how patient factors will determine the treatment option most suitable for their situation
- the adhesively retained prostheses and implant-supported prostheses constitute a continuum of care
- implant planning using 3-dimensional radiographic views
- the choice of appropriate implants with regard to biomechanical principles, the reduction of unnecessary soft tissue scrification, and an aesthetically acceptable outcome with patient acceptance.
