Benefits and Limitations of CBCT in Diagnosis & Treatment Planning
This lecture provides an overview on the use of cone beam CT (CBCT) in relation to clinical dentistry and dental implantology. The lecture explores the differences between conventional CT and CBCT; the science behind radiological imaging; indications and limitations in relation to diagnosis and treatment planning; and the accuracy of CBCT in relation to dental implant planning using evidence-based literature.
