Single Midline Implant in the Edentulous Mandible Without Augmentation
In July 2006, a 66-year-old edentulous woman received new complete dentures in both the maxilla and mandible at the Department of Prosthodontics, Propaedeutics and Dental Materials (University of Kiel, Germany). Both dentures had a perfect fit and met high dental standards. To reduce the risk of fracture of the mandibular denture, it was reinforced with a mesh CoCr framework.
