Clinical Case Report
Replacing a Mandibular Second Premolar with a Chairside-Fabricated Crown
A 32-year-old male patient was referred to our department for a single-tooth replacement with an implant-supported crown. The patient was diagnosed with tooth agenesis at site 45 after extraction of the retained deciduous tooth (85, primary second molar) by his general practitioner. At baseline, the full-mouth plaque score (PI) was 21%; probing pocket depths (PPD) ranged from 1 to 3 mm, and bleeding on probing (BoP) was 17%.

* General SAC assessment modifiers that are also part of the ERA. To avoid redundancy they are listed in this section even if no complete ERA has been made.
** Not applicable to the ERA of immediate placement cases and replaced by "Socket Integrity" listed below under "Surgical SAC Classification". For all other placement types this value is a classification determinant and listed here even if no complete ERA has been made.
